Pallet Wood Desk Chair

Simple and rustic construction and materials with modern lines.  A sturdy, very heavy chair made of reclaimed and recycled pallets.  It has since been finished with Tung Oil and wax and is being enjoyed in a clients home office.

This pretty pallet spoke to me from the alley behind the Cobra House.  It said, "make me into a table please." and I listened - it is now happily living in S. St. Louis.  The legs are from those old country fence posts I salvaged.  Beautiful red maple pallet wood top and amazing red cedar fence posts - pictures don't do it justice.

Trailer full of an Old Wood Farm Fence

These pieces of old fence wood will create new things for good people.  I was turned on to the free wood when my friend found the ad on the CL free list.  Always good for wood.  Thanks to the nice family in Arnold, MO for their good will and friendliness.

I love the 4x4 cedar posts, complete with rusty staples, moss and other bits of character.
